Salvatella was originally founded in December 2011 and is managed by Matthias Strecker. He came upon the struggling stable and after taking over the stud, he built it up and imported several quality foundation stock. Based in Romania, we specialize in performance horses, namely PRE Andalusians. All our horses are trained in both Classic Dressage and our stallions trained to master the finer aspects of traditional Spanish Dressage.

While we do believe in honoring the traditions of Pura Raza Española, we do like to implement our own unique fashion so that our horses remain distinct from others of the breed. One of these traditions in particular, regarding the horses manes and tails, is unique to us at Salvatella. We do roach the mares and foals manes but allow their tails and forelocks to grow.
